Cocina Criolla

I’m cooking my way through ‘Cocina Criolla,’ a classic Puerto Rican cookbook that many consider to be ‘Joy of Cooking’ of Puerto Rico. Through multimedia and writing I’m exploring Puerto Rican culture and history through food. I’m breaking from conventional understandings of authentic Puerto Rican food, and offering alternative ways of approaching the island’s cuisine.
